Yes, at the time I was a bit disappointed that service did not check the operation of the keys before returning the car to me (the first time), but you made it so right and effortless for me that I could not have complained. Also, age gives me a little perspective, and so I am willing to let people be human. If you had not reminded me, I would not have thought about it again.
I have no questions, and have no thoughts about room for improvement. My purchase experience was enjoyable from first to last, and I particularly enjoyed talking with you while the gears of the machine turned. As an additional note, I thought your finance department did an outstanding job in an unusual situation, so please pass on my compliments to them!

Hi, Cheryl.Thanks for your note – yes, everything is going well and we are absolutely enjoying our GL – as enjoyable as it is driving it around town, it’s even better on long road trips. We’re already at 8600 miles on it, so we’ll be scheduling the 10,000 mile service soon enough. But other than the regularly scheduled service, we have no other needs at this time.
PS: And we’re averaging 23.2 mpg so far – pretty impressive for a 6000-lb SUV.

My sales person was a woman by the name of Cheryl Bowman. I didn’t know it then, but during our conversation, we discovered that we had been in Junction City, Ks at the same time. In fact, her younger brother and my son were classmates and friends.
Cheryl is no longer with BMW but is now a sales person with Mercedes Benz. But selling cars is the least of what she does. Cheryl also does a daily inspirational piece. She nominates people to be featured in professional magazines.
This is but a tiny remnant of what Cheryl does. She helps people in need and she also has a piece on FB and I believe it is entitled, “40 Plus.”
With every thing that Cheryl does daily, she took the drive from Richmond yesterday to be with us at Grace. Who would ever imagine that the person who sells you a car would show up to celebrate with you. Once you drive off the lot, it is over. But now with Cheryl.

We hereby, convey our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Bowman for her valuable and active help extended to us during the purchase of our Mercedes-Benz C350.
We recently purchased a 2009 Mercedes-Benz C350 from Ms. Bowman and discovered a few minor issues which we were assured would be resolved. So many things have happened since the day we drove our car from your lot; including having to have it towed from my place of employment. I’ve probably bought more than 20 cars and I must say that dealing with you has
been the most efficient, pleasurable and pain-free to date. I have gone to
dealers to buy cars that I really wanted and walked out just because of the
salesperson. If you had taken out a sheet of paper and drawn four squares on
it when we started talking I would have walked out on you, too.

Also, that Volvo is a very nice car, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it,
the high mileage is from driving back and forth to Texas many times. If you
know someone that wants a nice car fairly cheap, don’t be afraid to sell them
that one. It is a tank in the snow and gets much better gas mileage than

I have had some experience with dealerships in the past and let’s just say that none were positive. Then I saw a car that I liked on auto trader that was being sold by this dealership (2009 Hyundai Sonata). Having had issues with dealers in the past, I was hesitant to contact them. Eventually I did. Once I spoke to Cheryl Bowman it was clear that the personnel were there to do whatever they could to make my experience a memorable one. Honestly, my experience with this dealership was amazing. The staff was not only friendly, but very accommodating and did everything they could to answer my questions. I was very frank with them and maybe slightly rude but they responded very well. My experience with this dealer was very positive and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car. The car was well represented and is amazing. My wife loves it. Give these guys a chance, you will not be disappointed.

Without a doubt an extraordinary customer experience delivered by Cheryl and Frank! From the initial contact via the web to the final drive off the BMW lot, we were impressed with the level of customer service Cheryl and Frank provided us. Other members of their firm followed up afterwards to make sure we were satisfied. We felt genuinely valued.
Cheryl is definitely an asset to your firm. She stayed in touch, answered all our questions, made sure we always had someone to take care of us should she be out, and most importantly always followed up with us. She took my calls on her day off and stayed late the night we came to take delivery. She show cased the car for our inspection and then educated us on what we purchased. Cheryl could have easily asked us to come back later as it was late but she insisted we stay for a review of the car’s features. Excellent customer service and a warm, genuine and inviting personality!
Frank is an additional asset to BMW Richmond at Broad Street. He asked to hear our story and then set off to make the transaction complete. It was seamless for us and all the while he made it very enjoyable. He has a great personality, is very knowledgeable about the business and is a pleasure to converse with. I look forward to working with Frank and Cheryl in the future.

As a Project Officer for the US Marine Corps, I can be direct and demanding by nature. I just wanted to take a moment to thank Cheryl and Richmond BMW for all of their help over
the past few weeks and yesterday. Everything yesterday was very quick
and easy. I wish every car buying experience could be this simple.
Additionally, Cheryl was very considerate with every little detail, for
example she noticed my wife was cold and you went over and shut the
front door so the breeze wouldn’t be blowing in. These little things
really make a customer feel special and important. Even though we
weren’t buying a $100k 7 series, she still treated us as though we
were her most important customers in the dealership yesterday.
Thank you again and I look forward to seeing Cheryl when the car is in
(unfortunately now the waiting begins!).

To be blunt, I have never had a dealer experience like that of Richmond BMW. Each and every individual of their team not only lives up to, but, in fact, exceeds expectations. BMW may build the “ultimate driving machine,” but from sales to service, Richmond BMW has people driven to provide the ultimate ownership experience.
My highest accolades go to Cheryl Bowman, who, together with the rest of Richmond BMW’s team extended every effort to make me feel special. Even tough I was looking at a CPO car (aka a “used” BMW), I was treated with every respect and courtesy otherwise reserved for new car customers. And my Jet Black 2007 Z4 Coupe looked showroom perfect on delivery.
The “Owners Orientation” offered by Richmond BMW was both informative and engaging, and underscored the levels and lengths the team goes to to support and satisfy their customers.
